Smart lock integration with Seam
Connect Yale, August, Schlage Encode, Igloohome, Salto, and more.
Seam is a service that connects smart locks to apps like ours. You don't need your own Seam account or any API keys — just your lock manufacturer's app already set up (Yale Access, August, etc.). Connect it once from your admin dashboard, and Seam handles the communication between your locks and GameDay Access so access codes are generated and delivered automatically.
Check your lock brand
Select your lock brand to see if it works with GameDay Access.
Cost
Smart lock access adds a bit to your plan, scaling with how many locks you connect — you never get a separate bill from Seam or deal with them directly. We'll confirm the exact cost for your facility when you set up smart lock access.
Setup in 5 steps
Click "Connect Seam"
In Admin → Areas & Locks, click Connect Seam. No separate Seam account or API key needed — we handle that.
Log in with your lock brand app
You'll land on a secure page to sign in with the same credentials you already use in your lock's own app (Yale Access, August, etc.).
Sync your locks
Once connected, click Sync Locks to pull in every device on that account.
Assign locks to areas
Map each lock to the area it controls (e.g. "Front Door Lock" → "Cage 1").
Test a booking
Make a test reservation. Verify the access code is generated and included in the confirmation email.
Don't have smart locks?
No problem. Many facilities use our manual code workflow instead. You'll deliver rotating codes to customers via the booking confirmation email. No hardware required.
FAQ
Can I add locks later?
Yes. You can start with manual codes and add smart locks whenever you're ready. The transition is seamless — just connect Seam and assign locks to your areas.
What if my lock isn't on the list?
If your lock brand isn't listed, it likely isn't supported by Seam yet. You can still use GameDay Access with our manual code workflow — you'll deliver rotating codes to customers via booking confirmation emails.
Do I have to use Seam?
No. GameDay Access works well with manual access codes. Seam integration is optional — it just automates the code generation and delivery process.
We'll walk you through lock setup during onboarding.
